Mikaël Springer, new guitar model: the Halfbreed
Somewhere between two worlds, vintage and modern, between bare rock'n'roll attitude and elegance, clean and rough at the same time, but for sure a workhorse for players, performers, artists: the Halfbreed.
TuneYourSound.com and Manifold Recordings: Jimmy Herring guitar workshop
TuneYourSound.com supported Manifold Recordings in the organisation of a 2 day guitar workshop with Jimmy Herring at the Miraverse studio in N.C..This was the occasion for Jimmy to rehearse in this beautiful and well equipped recording studio his material for his upcoming tour through the US. Some of the material comes from his newly released CD: Subject To Change Without Notice (August 21,2012).
Indeed we visited last year Terry McInturff to unveil his latest creation the Spitfire and we were expecting to see them arrive in our shop by summer 2011! Well it took some more time, but the result is not disappointing: great look and a vast range of sounds!
Two guitars are available for sale: the natural and the red translucent ones. Contact us!
More to come in the following weeks, so stay tuned!
'Father of the loud' falls silent: Jim Marshall died on April 5, 2012
Only death could silence Jim Marshall - the man who made music loud and life worth living. Today, our Marshall amps (and Germinos) are in mourning and will be left on for the next 24 hours in his memory - with the loud of the hiss and crackle and the smell of hot vacuum tubes reminding us of his greatness.
TYS visited Mikaël Springer, a young promissing guitar builder.
