The Story Behind

About the Guitar:

This guitar was purchased new at Scanlan music in Taylor Michigan in 1987. Scanlan music had bought all the Roscoe guitars at the NAMM show in Chicago that year.  This guitar is all original except for the 3 way switch which has been professionally replaced.

The guitar was built prior to Roscoe putting serial numbers or model numbers on them.

As with many of Roscoes guitars from that period Eddie Alexander Meeks did the paint work on this guitar.. Eddie actually started in 1986, aged 18, painting for Keith and really got going full speed right off the bat. Keith had lots of customers wanting custom painted guitars. Painting guitars was all Eddie did for 6 or so years. He quit around 1992 to start painting custom Harley-Davidson's. In 1994 he started building them as well as painting them.

These early Roscoe guitars are difficult to come across and this guitar is one of the cleanest ones you will ever see.
