Parker Guitars is an American manufacturer of electric guitars and basses, started by luthier Ken Parker in the early 90s. Parker is most famous for making the Parker Fly.
Parker guitars are characterized by being thin and lightweight guitars; they are generally made from lighter woods like poplar, Basswood, and spruce, although there is a mahogany Fly. They have composite materials (resin and carbon glass skin), to reinforce a thin carved body and neck. Fingerboards are composite, and use stainless steel frets. Electronics include the integrated use of coil split humbuckers and piezo pickups with active circuitry.

In 1997, Antares Audio Technologies revolutionized vocal production with the introduction of Auto-Tune pitch correction technology. In 1994, Parker revolutionized the electric guitar with the introduction of the Parker Fly. Instant String Tuning

The Solid-Tune Intonation System
Less-than-perfect intonation muddies a guitar's tone. But by using the Auto-Tune for Guitar's Solid-Tune Intonation system, the Parker Auto-Tune MaxxFly constantly monitors the precise pitch of each individual string and makes any corrections necessary to ensure that every note of every chord and riff is always in tune, regardless of variables like finger position or pressure. As a result, listening to a guitar with Solid-Tune is a revelation, offering a purity of tone that has simply never before been possible.
Additionally, Solid-Tune is smart enough to know when players intend to manipulate pitch, so they can play bends and vibrato exactly as they always always have. Solid-Tune Intonation even makes it easier to bend to the right pitch every time.

It also allows the firmware of the Auto-Tune for Guitar system to be updated using standard MIDI Sysex files.

Unfortunately this project, even if it was presented at NAMM 2012, never saw the commercialisation.
This is one of the two wo ATDF842 Parker Custom MAXXFLY Guitars made and the one which was displayed at the 2012 NAMM.
Parker & Antares originally had sought to work together to incorporate Antares Self-Tuning, Self-Intonating product with a Custom Shop MAXXFLY ATDF842 Parker Guitar. Ultimately, after Prototypes were completed and displayed at NAMM, Parker chose not to go ahead with the line.
