Knaggs Guitars was founded in 2009 by World renowned designer and Luthier Joe Knaggs and Marketer Peter Wolf.
All designs/creations except Artist Signature models are named after Native Indian river names in North-America.
Wood & Materials are carefully selected and processes are state-of the art. A skilled team of experienced senior guitar builders are making sure the end result is as good as it can possibly be: creating the finest instruments and providing the best tools for players and guitar aficionados.
Mick Hayes has been a proud Knaggs artist since 2012 and has some really beautiful examples of Joe's work in his collection. This guitar was built especially for him in conjunction with his good friends at Seymour Duncan. Being that this was a custom build for him, he was able to add some upgrades like the Tier 1 flame top & back with Tier 2 appointments.
This guitar is very special for a number of reasons:
- Was used in web advertisements
- Was on display at Winter NAMM 2014
- Was the first or this model built in the color Fire
- It's Serial Number is 12
- Even the binding is flamed to match
Mick used this guitar live and in the studio to record Soapbox, a song featured on his latest CD release "Mick Hayes Medley 2005 to 2017".
The guitar is currently wired with a master volume and master tone.
