About the Guitar:
When a Supro lapsteel pickup was brought to Sam years ago with the suggestion of building a guitar around it the Magpie was the result. The Magpie’s roar starts at the Lollar-Supro pickup and is refined by the cypress body, rosewood neck, with the copper veneer adding its own visual and sonic fingerprint as well. Think big, wide, and harmonically charged. We love those distinctive sounds!
